Introduction
Part IV of the constitution contains the directive principles of state policy. According to Art. 37 , it shall be the duty of the state to apply the Directive principle in making laws for the governance of the country. However these principle are not enforcible in the courts and do not create any justicable rights in favour of Individuals. The courts cannot declare any law as void on the ground that they contravene any of the directives of state policy.
